Plot Summary:

- Within hours, military forces lock down the city, cutting power, communications, and escape routes.
- Ella, her sister Mia, and a handful of tenants (a cynical journalist, a retired cop, a young couple, and a reclusive survivalist) barricade themselves inside their luxury apartment complex.
- First deaths occur—infected people don’t just die… they come back altered. Violent. Unrecognizable.
Act 2: Infection Spreads
- The group discovers the virus rewrites human DNA, turning the infected into hyper-aggressive, bloodthirsty creatures.
- Paranoia erupts when they realize anyone could be a carrier—symptoms take hours to manifest.
- The military fires indiscriminately at anyone trying to flee, including uninfected.
